I'VE BEEN WHERE YOU ARE

In order to succeed for everyone around me (and myself), I didn't become "peaceful". I became strategic.

A number of years ago, my business was under serious threat. Former employees nearly destroyed what my wife and I built. Numerous fake online reviews tanked our online presence, resulting in the elimination of our online presence and the drying up of all online inquiries. I was vibrating with rage and financial terror, and the temptation to burn down everything and everyone that was around me was overwhelming.

No amount of "healing" could ever make my business profitable. All I wanted was to feed my family, continue to employ the amazing people who worked there, and be in service to my community.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) gave me the tactical override my nervous system needed. You see, it didn't make the problem disappear - it simply shifted the emotional charge enough to move me from the tunnel vision of "doom and gloom" of to the chessboard where I was now able to see a few steps ahead at every moment.

I stopped reacting - I started responding.

That's what I help people do now. Not as a guru on a mountaintop but as someone who's been in the same trenches, handing you better equipment.

HERE'S THE METHOD

What is Emotional Freedom Techniques?

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, and is commonly called "tapping". It's a clinically validated stress-reduction technique that combines cognitive reframing (i.e. "replacing a negative thought with a positive one") with gentle stimulation of acupressure points on the face and body. Think of it as a "conversation" between your brain and your nervous system, conducted in a "language" that both can easily and quickly understand.

The process goes like this: While you hold a stressful thought or memory in mind, you tap lightly on specific meridian endpoints - the same points used in traditional acupuncture for over four thousand years. This sends a calming signal directly to your amygdala, the brain's "threat-detection" center.

The result - the emotional charge attached to that thought begins to drop. Not because you've suppressed it or talked yourself out of it, but because the body's stress response has been physically interrupted and reset.

By the way, EFT is not therapy. It's a skill. One you can learn, apply independently, and measure in real time with a simple 0-10 distress scale that you determine.

HOW EFT ACTUALLY WORKS

The Magic Is In The Mechanics.

Think of a stream of water running through your yard. The longer that stream of water flows in the same path that it initially created, the deeper the channel becomes. Over time, that path widens and deepens even more, and the stream of water ends up following the same path, because it would take much more energy to create a new path, so it doesn't.

Now apply that analogy to your current stress and emotional patterns that are happening inside your brain. At one point there was a stimulus that started a signal, and that signal, over time, ended up engraining itself within a single path. The longer things run unchecked, the more ingrown the path becomes whenever the same stimulus occurs.

What started as a response now turns into a reaction. And when the pattern is repeated over and over again, at a certain point, you are not choosing how you respond - you simply react, following the path that has been deeply carved.

EFT acts as a fast physical interrupt. It breaks the pattern and gives you a chance to step out of that groove.

A STRUCTURED PROGRAM THAT PRODUCES RESULTS

Four Sessions For A Complete System Upgrade.

Together, we'll work within a structured four-session intensive with a clear arc, from learning and implementing different tools, to owning them so you can use them whenever you need. Every session builds on the last. You'll know exactly where you are, what you're working on, and why.

SESSION 01 (2 HOURS)

The Foundation

You learn EFT completely - every point, the mechanics, the science, and why it works when everything else hasn't. Then we apply it immediately to whatever is generating the most static or stress in your life right now. You leave Session 1 having already felt a measurable shift - and holding a tool you own for life.

SESSION 02 (1 HOUR)

The Inner Toolkit

This is where we dive even deeper into how visualization strategies and brain plasticity work together to accelerate emotional regulation. You'll learn "The Magic Utility Belt" - a guided visualization process that lets your mind and body coordinate their own clearing, in their own language - as well as a rapid interrupt technique for the moments when the emotional spiral won't stop and you can't think your way out of it.

SESSION 03 (1 HOUR)

The People Problem

Most emotional dysregulation doesn't happen in a vacuum. It happens because of specific people - a boss, a partner, a parent, a colleague...or maybe even the cashier at the grocery store. In this session we use the DISC Model of Human Behavior to help you understand yourself, decode the people around you, and stop losing energy to friction that was always avoidable. You'll leave with a communication strategy for the relationships that have been costing you the most.

SESSION 04 (1 HOUR)

Integration & Handoff

In this session we'll close any open loops and apply the tools you've learned to anything still unresolved. We will build your personal protocol - a field reference built specifically around your triggers, your patterns, and your highest-charge relationships. The goal isn't to keep you coming back. It's to hand you a system that works when you need it, wherever you are.

Should you want to attend further coaching sessions after this one, we will set a schedule together for that.

Will I have to talk about painful memories?

Not the way you're imagining. We're not doing emotional deep dives or vulnerability exercises. The approach is more like a technician performing a diagnostic - we identify where the charge is, work it mechanically, and measure the shift. You stay in control of what you share. Most clients are surprised by how little they need to 'open up' for the process to work.

Is EFT coaching covered by insurance?

We recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm coverage and any co-pays.

How many sessions will I need?

The core program is four sessions - a defined arc from learning the tools to full integration. Each session builds on the last. Some clients choose occasional follow-up sessions after that for new challenges, but the program itself is complete and self-contained.

Can I do this virtually?

Absolutely. Virtual sessions are just as effective as in-person. The tapping technique works through a screen - you do the physical work on yourself while I guide the process. Most clients prefer virtual for the convenience. In-person sessions are available on Sundays in Toronto if you prefer that.

Can I do this in-person? If so, where are you located?

I work out of Inspired Life Health Collective which is on Danforth Avenue, just east of Broadview Avenue, in Toronto. The address is 320 Danforth Avenue, Suite 206, Toronto, Ontario M4K 1N8. The office is located on the 2nd floor and there are stairs - no elevator or lift is available.

What if EFT doesn't work for me?

Then I'll tell you. I'm not interested in taking your money if this isn't the right approach for your situation. The discovery call exists precisely for this reason -to assess whether EFT is a good fit before either of us commits. And if we start working together and it's not producing results, I won't pretend it is.

I've tried meditation, therapy, breathing exercises — they didn't stick. Why would this be different?

Most of those approaches ask you to manage your state from the top down - using your conscious mind to override your nervous system. EFT works from the bottom up - it sends a direct physiological signal that interrupts the stress response at a biological level. It's not about willpower or discipline. It's about changing the hardware, not just running better software on a system that's overheating.

Can children do sessions with you?

Absolutely! EFT works great with children usually starting around the age of 7 to 9. Common uses for children include but are not limited to anxiety, school stress, emotional regulation, and social challenges.
